Series Facts: Santa Margarita's first Varsity game was the opener in 1989. The Eagles held their own in the first half before Trabuco Hills pulled away in the second half. The Eagles played with only juniors and sophmores against a team that went on to win the CIF title.
1994 Outlook: The Mustangs return a lot of talent from the CIF Championship team. Barnett has had a history of getting the most from his players. The Mustangs feature a wide open attack and have two of their three quarterbacks returning.
