Spencer has been a consistent and productive member of the Eagle offensive line for two seasons. Spencer picked up a career-high six decleaters and earned Offensive Lineman of the Game honors for his efforts against Rialto. The senior standout is second on the team with 31.5 decleaters. Hollison had tied his previous career-high for decleaters with five vs. St. Paul when he earned Offensive Lineman of the Game honors. Spencer earned Offensive lineman of the Game honors for his 80% grade and six decleaters against Servite in Week 10. He picked up three decleaters vs. Mater Dei and earned Player of the Game honors vs. St. John Bosco in Week 8 with 2.5 decleaters. Spencer has opened some eyes since the end of the 2000 season by gaining 20 pounds and lowering his 40-time to 4.90. Hollison has emerged as a legitimate Division I-A recruit and is being pursued by Colorado and Colorado State among others.

2000:
Spencer was consistent throughout the entire season registering at least one decleater in every game and finishing with 27.5 on the year. His efforst earned him All-Serra League honors. Hollison picked up at least two tackles in each league game and added four against Norco and Alemany. Spencer picked up three decleaters against Los Alamitos, and his season-high five decleaters at Ayala earned him Offensive Lineman of the Game honors.

Misc:
Spencer has set the school record in the medicine ball throw with a toss of 42 feet. His 29" vertical and 4.93 40 along with impressing play in one-on-one drills earned him some recognition from Student Sports magazine after the San Diego State Nike Combine.
