Leif comes into the 2001 season with big expectations from the Varsity coaching staff. Leif is coming off an exceptional spring and summer where he showed the ability to catch the ball in traffic. Leif has exceptional speed and quickness for his size and should prove to be a vital part of the 2001 offensive attack. Leif is also expected to contribute on defense at the end position and on numerous special teams including the punt team where he will be the team's punter.
