At Santa Margarita: Will play a key role as a defensive
and offensive lineman; was the Freshman defensive Line MVP and the JV
Offensive Line MVP; and 2nd Team All- League in 1996; also plays baseball;
has run a 4.5 pro agility, a 5.0 in the 40; benches 225 and squats 295. Andy once again repeated as an All-Sea View League selection as the senior continues to contribute on both sides of the ball. At Newport Harbor, Andy collected two tackles and a 79% grade, and also saw action on the offensive side of the ball. At Servite, Andy received a grade of 80% on both sides of the ball. On defense, Hopper collected three tackles, 0.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Against Katella, Hopper registered a 78% grade at center and an 86% grade with two tackles on defense. Andy recorded three tackles and an 88% grade to earn Defensive Lineman of the Game against El Toro. Andy also graded out at 74% on offensive as he started at center. Hopper registered three tackles at Woodbridge after having a season high eight tackles, 0.5 sacks and 95% grade vs. Irvine in Week 8. Andy graded out at 73% with a tackle at Servite after a 79% outing with three tackles at Durango. Andy graded out at a season high 94% vs. Trabuco Hills and recorded two tackles. He also added two tackles on special teams. Hopper has 32 tackles on the year. In 1996, Andy was selected to the All-Sea View League Team as a defensive lineman as he registered 29 tackles, a fumble recovery and 3.5 sacks. In 1995, Hopper picked up six tackles at Woodbridge. |
