Santa Margarita Eagles FootballThis was the inaugural Varsity season for the Santa Margarita Eagles. Playing with only Juniors and Sophomores the Eagles were placed in the Olympic League. The Eagles finished the season 3rd in league with a record of 8-4 and made the playoffs for the first time in school history with the At-Large Berth for Division IX. In the opening round Santa Margarita shutout 4th seeded Beaumont, 20-0. The Eagles lost in the Quarterfinals 14-21 to the eventual CIF Champions, the Carpinteria Warriors.
