LAST GAME VS SERVITE

Santa Margarita Catholic came out strong in its final game of the regular season with a resounding 44-8 victory over Servite (Anaheim). The victory likely solidified a place in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 Playoffs for the Eagles. The offense, defense and special teams all worked as one as SMCHS delivered their best overall game of the season, thus far.

  • SMCHS employed four quarterbacks on the night. Together, John Gazzaniga, James Johnson and Hayes Cloutier had 7 rushing attempts for 52 yards (7.4 average) and three touchdown runs
  • Gazzaniga was 16-of-21 (76.2 %) for 202 yards with one touchdown. Over the final two regular season games, he was a combined 32-of-42 (76.2 %) with three touchdowns and one interception
