2005 Game Highlights: Recorded a team-high 10 tackles at St. John Bosco and 11 at Mater Dei. Ross picked up five tackles and a safety vs. Loyola in Week 6 in limited action. Did not play vs. Foothill while recovering from a shoulder injury.Ross played one series and caught a seven-yard TD pass against Fountain Valley to give him three in four games. Recorded a career-high 18 tackles, a sack and a seven-yard TD reception vs. Orange Lutheran. He leads the Serra League with 45 tackles.Cumming logged 13 tackles and converted a key two-point conversion at Dorsey. Registered 14 tackles, caught two passes for 78 yards and scored his first career TD on a 13-yard reception at Kealakehe in Week 1. His 65-yard reception broke the school record of 60 yards set by Eric Brown in 1995 for longest reception by a TE.

An extremely competitive and gifted athlete he had three tackles for a loss and caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Eagle’s first full-pad scrimmage of 2005, and two for 66, including a 48-yard TD in the second.

2004 Overview: Named to the All-Serra League Team and was a finalist for the Serra League Defensive Player of the Year. Was the top underclassman in the Serra League in tackles and sacks. Picked up 60 tackles and led the team with six sacks, 20 tackles for losses, three fumble recoveries and three passes broken up. Named Santa Margarita’s Player of the Game three times. Listed at the end of 2004 by Calhi Sports as one of the top 2006 Division I-A recruits.
2004 Game highlights: Cumming picked up six tackles including two for losses at Colton in the CIF playoffs. Enjoyed a huge game in Week 10 at Loyola as he registered five tackles, 3.5 sacks and recovered a fumble in an important 20-15 win. Ross picked up a career-high nine tackles and a sack at Servite and added six tackles in both the St. John Bosco and Bishop Amat games. Cumming made eight tackles against Foothill in Week 5. Ross collected seven tackles, a sack and a forced fumble at Orange Lutheran.
Misc: Had 105 career tackles good for 41st on the Eagle’s all-time list. His seven career sacks are good for 14th on the all-time Eagle list. Bench presses over 300 pounds and runs the 40 in under 4.6 seconds.
