Redlands East Valley - Game Notes

The REV game will be broadcast on the Internet only by Rob Buska and the Sports Radio Team KWRM AM 1370.

The Eagles finished the regular season 5-5 and in a three way tie for third in the Serra League with Loyola and Bishop Amat. The five Eagle losses were by a total of 22 points (4.4/game).

The Eagles will compete in the CIF Playoffs for the 16th time in their 17 seasons and 11th in a row including all seven seasons as a Division I team. They have gone 9-6 in previous round one games and 1-5 in round one since joining Division I in 1999.

The Eagles are 1-0 at Ted Runner Stadium at the University of Redlands. They defeated the Redlands Terriers 35-0 in 2003.

Redlands East Valley (REV) is 9-0-1 and won the Citrus Belt League title for the second time in three years. REV is led by Kurt Bruich is 30-9-4 in four seasons at REV. REV has qualified for the playoffs the past four years, but they are still seeking their first win.

The Eagles are 1-3 against Citrus Belt League teams in the playoffs dating back to 1999. Their lone CBL playoff victory was a 43-30 win over Rialto in 2001.

The Eagles were 4-2 on the road in 2005, but have not won a road playoff game since defeating Tustin 28-19 in 1998.

At the Servite game Jon Daniels set the school record for career pass completions with 271. Carson Palmer had 261.
