#41 Colin Rooke
Collin had an outstanding game at Irvine in Week 13 as the senior collected a team-high 2.5 sacks and 11 tackles to lead the team to its first shutout of the season to earn Defensive Lineman of the Game honors. Collin also registered seven tackles at Irvine in Week 9. Collin picked up four tackles at Newport Harbor after getting seven against CdM. Collin was named Defensive Lineman of the Game for the third time this year as he collected seven tackles including a career-high 2.5 sacks and helped limit El Toro to a mere 73 yards passing. Rooke was named Defensive Lineman and Special Teams Player of the Game for his efforts against Rancho Bernardo in Week 5. Collin had one of the best defensive plays in Eagle history at Dana Hills as he blew up an option play in the backfield, forced a fumble, recovered it and raced 49 yards for a touchdown. He finished with four tackles. Collin also picked up four tackles vs. Carlsbad. Collin dominated the Dominguez game with a career-high 13 tackles and two sacks to be named Defensive Lineman of the Game.
