SERIES FACTS: The Eagles have a perfect record vs. the Warriors, and last year's contest proved to be not a contest at all. SM used the JV team the entire second half en route to a 41-10 win. In 1994 Santa Margarita came into the game with a 2-3 record vs. top-ranked Woodbridge at 5-0. The Eagles jumped to an early lead and held on to win 20-12. 1993 was a defensive battle won by the Eagles, 14-0. In 1992 the game was the final league game which provided plenty of fireworks. Woodbridge opened a 14-0 lead only to see the Eagles storm back to win, 51-32. Eagles lead series 4-0.
1996 OUTLOOK: The Warriors can go nowhere but up from last year, and hope to use last season as a learning experience for its young players.
