SERIES FACTS: The 1995 game was a see-saw battle as the barons held on for a one-point win. Fountain Valley dominated the 1994 game early and held off a second half charge by the Eagles. Santa Margarita went to a two-minute offense early in the third quarter, but it wasn't enough. The Barons lead the series 2-0.
1996 OUTLOOK: The Barons lost a lot of skill players and offensive linemen. They must face Edison, Los Alamitos and Esperanza in weeks 8-10, which should determine their playoff hopes. The preseason is very important for the Barons if they don't finish in the top three in the league.
1995 Record: 7-4 overall, 3-2 in league, lost in first round of Division I playoffs to eventual finalist Loyola.
