EAGLE ALUMNI

John McCartan '18 was a 1st team All-Trinity League Defensive End for the Eagles. As a senior John tallied 43 tackles, collecting 3.5 for loss. He added five sacks and nine hurries with one pass deflection, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. On offense as a TE he had 17 career catches for 230 yards and 1 TD. John was a dual-sport varsity letterman as a member of the Eagle football team and the track and field team. Outside of athletics, he is a member of California Scholarship Federation and has received the academic athlete award, while actively volunteering in the nonprofit rescue organization Little Red Dog. 

John went on to Oregon State where he played in 54 games, recorded 132 career tackles (77 solo, 55 asst), 9.5 sacks, and 4 interceptions.
