Senior WR/FS, and Captain Bobby Whithorne was named a PrepStar 2002 All-American. He has accepted a scholarship offer to the University of Washington. Whithorne had a career day vs. Servite with 13 catches for 185 yards, including a 58-yard Td, and an 87-yard kickoff return Td.

Returning All-Serra League LB Jack Meehan tied Mike Farris' school record with 23 tackles at Servite. He has 91 on the year including had 13 against St. John Bosco and 17 vs. El Modena.

2001 All-Serra League TE Dustin Slinkard picked up 15 tackles vs. El Modena, 14 vs. St. John Bosco and 13 at Fountain Valley. He has 64 total tackles and four turnovers so far this year.

The Eagles have a +11 turnover ratio in 2002 with 18 takeaways and only seven giveaways.

The Freshman team is 6-1 on the year and the JV's/sophomores finished up 5-1-1. They were both 9-1 in 2001.

The Eagles have allowed only 44 pass completions and no touchdown passes in 2002.

Ashton White, with 3,385 career rushing yards, needs 812 yards to break the school record held by Josh Ireland (4,196).

Ashton White and Chase McWhorter ran for 180 and 108 yards respectively vs. Redlands. It was the first time since 2000 that two Eagle teammates ran for at least 100 yards in the same game.
