Sam Loy - Arkansas

Sam was ranked by the Kornblue Kicking Service as five-star prospect and nation’s top senior punter. He was the recipient of Orange County Specialist of the Year and All-Trinity League MVP Punter awards as senior punter. He Averaged 42.0 yards as senior, with 15 of 35 attempts landing inside opponent’s 20-yard line. Sam boomed punts of 69 and 75 yards as senior. Same was named Orange County Register’s No. 26 top prospect. He allowed just one return in 51 kickoffs as senior.

Spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Vanderbilt in 2016 and 2017. Sat out the 2018 season in accordance with NCAA transfer regulations and enrolled at CU for summer classes and joined the team for offseason workouts. Did not play for the Buffaloes and transferred to Arkansas for his junior and senior seasons in 2019 and 2020. Overall, in four seasons, Loy had a 40.4 yards-per-punt average in 39 games.
