As a junior in 2019 he played on the JV (California high school rules state that international transfers can not play on the varsity in their first season), after having moved to the U.S. from Germany. Played for the TB Hamburg Iron Swans and AHe AFV Hamburg prior to moving. Listed as the No. 33 weakside defensive end in the county and No. 47 prospect in California by 247Sports.com. ESPN.com's No. 74 defensive end recruit. Ranked the No. 47 strongside defensive end prospect in the country and No. 49 recruit in his state by Rivals.com. In 2020 was nominated to the Sports Illustrated All-American Watch List.

Maurice Heims '21 Played defensive end for the Eagles where he was 2nd Team All-Trinity league and racked up 18 tackles (7 solo, 11 asst) and 1 sack in a shortened 6 game senior season. He also participated in Track for the Eagles placing 5th in the Triple Jump at
