Graduated from Santa Margarita High 2002…JUNIOR season played right tackle and finished with 27.5 decleaters, the ninth best mark in school history…earned All-Serra League honors on the offensive line…also played defense, registering at least two tackles in every game…team captured Serra League title…as a SENIOR named by Super Prep Magazine as their #139 prospect in California/Hawaii/Nevada…racked up 37.5 decleaters, fourth-best in school history, and giving him the career record in that category with 67…repeat pick on the All-Serra League squad…paved the way for a running game that averaged over 200 yards per game and won another Serra League title…protected three Division I-A quarterbacks during his three-year stint as a starter for the Eagles, including Chris Rix of Florida State, Matt Dlugolecki of Illinois, and Marshall Tharpe of Colorado State…played at the same high school as former Cougar strong safety Billy Newman…started
at right tackle in the CaliFlorida Bowl.
