High School Honors: Played offensive and defensive line and also was a deep and short snapper for head coach Jim Hartigan at Santa Margarita High School ...led squad to Sierra League titles in 2000 and 2001 and was part of four teams that advanced to the state playoffs....played in Orange County North-South All-Star Game...earned team's Top Iron Eagle Award for strength training...holds school's bench press (365 lbs.) and power clean (305 lbs.) records...also threw shot put and discus for indoor track team and was a pitcher for the SMCHS baseball team.

At Delaware: One of two recruits from California and one of three defensive line prospects in recruiting class...projected as No. 3 left defensive tackle behind All-Atlantic 10 candidate Chris Mooney and junior college transfer Paul Howse...talented deep snapper who could contend for top for both punts and placements.
